Big, bright, beautiful spiral in Ursa Major
Telescope/Mount:
C9.25 @ f/6.3 on a Losmandy GM200 mount 
Camera and Control Software:
Starlight Xpress HX916 unbinned (0.93 arc-secs per pixel); Maxim DL-CCD 3.05
Exposure:
9x5mins
Calibration:
Dark subtraction (but no flats, need a lightbox for the C9.25)
Processing:
Maxim DL-CCD 3.05: lognormal histogram specification, linear stretch, unsharp mask-FFT/medium
Guiding:
ST4 and Orion Apex 90 Mak-Cass
Date and Location:
08-Feb-02 between 10pm-11pm at Dinosaur Point near Los Banos, California
Seeing, Transparency and Conditions:
Seeing was excellent, approx. 4/5. Transparency was quite good; limiting naked eye mag was approx. 6.4. Temperatures were in the low 40's - upper 30's, with a light breeze. Brrr!
Comments:
Seeing deteriorated before I could get RGB frames, will try to get those next time out
